The birch plantation

Not up early and a very different day from yesterday. No sun and lots of rain. Fed the birds and lay on the sofa not inclined to do anything but determined to go for a walk even if nothing else. Got out after lunch to Heggie's Wood and had a short walk to the birch plantation where lots of gorse was in flower. When I got back home Linda phoned to chat and remind me we were meeting on Tuesday. Next week seems to be fairly social so I need to screw myself up to phone Andy about help for the mattress switchover.
