We didn’t get the forecast thunderstorms, but it has rained on and off for most of the day. I had hoped to mow the lawn and get another bed dug out but I’ll do it another day. I did however do a few bits inside and I made some ginger shortbread for work and a tea loaf ( see blip) that I’ve sliced and popped in the freezer ( obviously  for quality assurance I tried a slice first)
I was sad to hear Richard Sherman had died, with his brother he wrote the songs for , amongst others, Mary Poppins and Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Two of my favourites
