Too Old?

We have had this tin of liquid dubbin or leather oil for longer than we can remember. At a guess I would say over 25 years. I dug it out of the shoe polish box after I found that the tin of beeswax (dubbin) was almost empty.  Why didn't we get another........

The tin is discoloured through age, but I really hope what is inside is still alive! I actually enjoyed using it as I poured some into a pot and brushed it on. It was so much easier than using the wax and a cloth. I need it to work as we are heading to Scotland on Thursday for nearly three weeks, and who knows if it might rain.
