Try again

Posted earlier and it’s not here, so try again.
Rain forecast for the afternoon so we made a flask of cocoa and packed a naked bar and headed off for a walk.
I love seeing all the curlew and lapwings around at the moment.
The fields look so green and lush and full of lambs, cows and rabbits.
We had our drink and snack and started back when the rain started, it was heavy and we got very wet. We both had waterproof jackets on but trousers were drenched and my waterproof camera back was not.
Home, dried and change of trousers, poor Hetty required a towel.
Reading time and then cooked dinner.
If rain forecast tomorrow I think I will stay home.
