Back to the splashes

Another Sunday 10am swim at Shandwick. It was well attended, but quite a few people I hadn't previously met. L gave me a lift, which was great, giving us a chance to chat and catch up during the journey there and back. There is a lot more sand on Shandwick beach than there has been since October. It's a great improvement.

Afterwards, I've been fairly sedentary. It rained from about 12 noon until 4pm, although thereafter I popped outside to do a bit of weeding, especially in the side bed on the north side of the house. The weather continued improving, and after dinner, we sat outside at the back for an hour or so.

Sitting out reinforced how much we enjoy this space.
