Cake

We all descended on eldest and her family today as we celebrated her birthday.
Her hubby did a fab brunch, provided a yummy chocolate cake, the candles he lit with a blow torch (he couldn’t find the matches!)
It was a delight for us all to be together for the first time since our newest granddaughter was born.

Later in the day, middle daughter and I went for a walk to Upper Street, the trendy bit of Islington. Had a coffee in this cafe which had an impressive array of cakes and pastries.
We enjoyed a couple of cannolis with our coffees.
