The voyage of Ulysses

I got up at 5 to catch the coach at 6.15 from Stroud to Castlereagh, Belfast, via Chester, Holyhead and Dublin. I'm travelling with my friend Kitty to celebrate our 60th birthdays (in my case, this is turning into a world tour. Why not?)

It's been a long day without particular incident. It's now 10.50pm.and I've been travelling all day, bar the last two hours. We've had dinner at our lovely, countryside hotel and I'll be catching some Zzzzzs soon. The crossing was smooth and the company had been delightful. Thank goodness for holidays.
