A Hole In The Weather

We've had weather warnings almost every day for the last two weeks.  But today the eastern sky turned pink and we watched nervously as the clouds rolled along and snaked around themselves. This picture is completely untouched and posted straight from the memory card.
   And then this small opening appeared showing 4 different layers.  I took it as a good sign and, weather or not it was a good omen, we didn't get any rain until hours and hours later.
