We Are The Champions . . . Queen

This morning we went to watch Finn's football skills practice.  On a sunny morning it was heart warming to see many small children and their parents having fun, being encouraging and all trying to get some control of that round ball.  There were several ethnicities, all focused on their children.  A beautiful Indian woman had been speaking to her son in their language when she stopped to talk to a Chinese father and his small son.  I felt it was much more hopeful that listening to the news.  
We then went to the library so Finn could return a book and choose three new ones. 
After a goodbye hug we drove over the hill to the Wairarapa and our friends farm just before Riversdale beach.  The reason for visiting was to meet Bella a beautiful baby of four weeks.  There were other members of Bella's extended family there and she peacefully slept as she was passed from Great Aunt, Aunt, Grandma little cousin, and me who is a long time  family friend.  It was special to be included.
