Another goodbye

Today was Helen's last day in the lab before she heads off back to being a dental nurse instead.
I'm not sure it's a job I'd want (I'm imagining sticking drool out of people's mouths) but talking to her she was really looking forward to getting back to it. Unfortunately in the lab there's not a lot of progression routes for an MLA (Medical Laboratory Assistant) if you don't want to be a BMS (Biomedical Scientist) with all the study that involves...something I need to look at.

She got presents, flowers, a short speech from me, and a card featuring a bunch of the team on the front.
