Settling in at home

The storm and heavy rain provided a good excuse for a day pottering at home. So a nice day of settling back in, with gentle post holiday laundry and chores. Then in the afternoon I got the sewing machine out to make a skirt from a dress that I didn’t wear but loved the fabric. I was very pleased with the result, including the fact the dress had pockets so my new skirt has pockets!
