Do City Kids Have Bikes?

I woke up at 7:45 this morning and ran to 7-11 to meet up with Brent, John, Mike, and Timmy for our 7 mile run. It was super hot; I should have suggested that we run earlier. At least now I know for next time.

I spent a few hours just chilling at home after that. Jaclyn is awesome and accompanied me to Panera so that I didn't have to eat alone. I missed her a ton and I hope I get to see her again soon.

Alex (our friend from Sc3) came out from the city today to see Isabella and I! We walked over and met her at the train station. I gave her the tour of our lovely town on the way to Isabella's house. After introducing Alex to all of the animals, we ordered Thai Coconut. Our bike trip to the beach commenced after we finished eating. It had cooled down considerably, and the breeze along the path was great. Sometimes (more often than I should) I take for granted the fact that we live in such a beautiful place.

We stopped at the new underpass along the path before finally arriving at the beach. We laid out on the sand and walked in the water a little bit, just enjoying the setting sun and the cool sea breeze. Unfortunately, we had to leave before it got too dark. We ended up back at Cedar Creek around 9:00. After dropping the bikes off at home, we brought Alex back to the train station and said our goodbyes. Is it pathetic that I had seen her only a week ago and I already missed her enough to make her come all the way out to Long Island to see me? Maybe. Do I care? Not one bit.
