Belted King Fisher

Johnny is my spotter. On the way out of the driveway, headed to church, he suddenly stoped. “ There he is! The one your wanted!” Sure enough! These little dasher are hard to photograph and I believe this to be a male! We usually see a female. Isn’t he handsome?!
We went on to church then picked up a few groceries and went home. Had a neighbor visit.
And , now I have a baby duck in the bathroom! Noticed this one slightly crippled so I was able to catch him and let him recooperate. I think it’s a sprained leg. He should be fine in a few days.
