Grindstone and Sortridge Leat
Dartmoor seems gentler and is greener at this time of year. The grass provides rough grazing for cattle, sheep and ponies, as well as attracting more visitors. This is the Grimstone and Sortridge Leat today with Cox (or Cocks) Tor is the background. The fluffy, white plant by the leat is cotton grass.
