The babies have arrived

When I came downstairs this morning I could hear a lot of squawking and saw that the tree was full of starlings and their babies. The jackdaw looked a bit bemused by all the activity. Went to a meditation session this morning ( despite it being a bank holiday) and then out for coffee with a friend. Gardened this afternoon in intermittent sunshine but happily no rain.
