Avoiding The Crowds

Driving along the side of LNK wondering why there were so many people around (and why so many of them were parked in passing places) I suddenly remembered that it was a Bank Holiday weekend. Ahh, that would do it!
So, how to avoid everyone on a dog walk in a popular bit of the island?
Easy, don't follow the shoreline, turn and head for the hills. Eventually the passing traffic can't be heard and there's only a tiny white dot of a camper van if you really try to find them.
