Wroxeter Roman City and Langley Chapel

One of the places we visited today and it was fantastic. Much more to see than the photo shows.
It was bitterly cold as the site is exposed and the recent heatwave has ended!
After this we went to Acton Burnell Castle ruins and then to Langley Chapel. We didn't think the latter would be open but it was - the key was there ready to open it - a very old key, which was padlocked to the door! - see extras.
These were all English Heritage but only the Roman City had a fee which was reduced for over 65s and reduced again because we booked online the day before. I love a reduction or two.
