Feeding horses

Two of the grandchildren arrived yesterday with their parents, and today we went to feed the horses up the road. Unfortunately the children like raw carrots too, so each horse got the half carrot that the children hadn’t managed to eat before granny put them in her pocket! My daughter took the photo.
Then we went to the supermarket to buy more carrots, and some emergency pants for Henry as all his had somehow been left at home!
Later we went for a swim, the pool was warm but there’s a cold wind, which made getting out rather horrid. At least it isn’t raining as the roof men came, fixed the hole, charged us 500€ and said that actually we need a whole new roof (which we rather suspected).
