Treshnish road

Who knows why this trackway is called Treshnish. A handy place to stop behind a chained gate in the Whitelees National Nature Reserve under Carter Bar. Couldn’t have been more different from Wednesday. Tree poppies, chaffinch and martins and swallows. Super quick after at 7am start from York with all the A68 speed cameras cloaked. But from Jedburgh funeral in pace.

Took a turn round the Botanics after struggling to retread a Roman blind. Then lamb for tea with J and T and p.
