Wall Walkers 1 Newtown to Banks

Caroline and I walked 6.5 miles along part of Hadrians Wall. It’s a lovely part of the wall with lots of trees, hedgerows, streams and rolling hills. There were lots of other people out too. The rain and thunderstorms stayed away. I didn’t find it difficult probably helped by the fact that we were chatting along the way. We enjoyed a well deserved toasted cheese scone with chutney. I’m looking forward to the next bit.
