Homeward bound

 Before leaving Glasgow this morning, we stopped off at Braehead to do a bit of shopping and have breakfast in M&S. Then onwards, over the Erskine Bridge, along Loch Lomond and up and over the Rest and Be Thankful. We stopped at the head of Loch Fyne to buy some fish and enjoy a spot of lunch before heading to Oban. We were pleased to see the MV Isle of Mull waiting for us at the pier. These days nothing to do with ferries can be taken for granted. I had a great welcome from Bertie on my arrival home and Nick had a cocktail waiting for me which just required him to add the finishing touches while I waved goodbye to T and C.
