British Holiday

Wouldn’t be a British holiday without some rain (and generally unpredictable weather - as you can see by the rainy van picnic - kids were all in the car, whilst also having sunshine and blue skies!).

But, saying that, we did pretty well - a play on the beach and rock pools by Bamburgh castle (followed by the van picnic), then a walk into Bamburgh in the sunshine, finding the only table in a packed cafe that was free was also the only one big enough to fit us all - at which point whilst we had a drink and some cake and played some card games it absolutely poured down!

Then home for a rest and clean up before heading out to the distillery down the road from us.
