Scented rhododendron

Jane and I went to Lanhydrock House, national trust, today and walked round the gardens, passing by this beautiful bush and breathing in the fragrance which was very heady! I don’t associate rhododendrons with scent but this was the exception.

We also went in the house and did the conservation route. The plaster ceiling in the long gallery is currently being conserved and visitors are able to get up close and personal with the ceiling! Will add some extras tomorrow when I get home.

I went for a walk down the point when I got home and forgot to take my keys with me! I now have a Yale lock and I couldn’t get back in so I am currently staying with my friends where I will be staying in a couple of weeks when they are on holiday! Feel very stupid and will have to hang my keys around my neck!
