Caravan

So it’s too long a story for here, but last October, I acquired a caravan for reasons not associated with actually going caravanning, although that was at the back of my mind as a future off-shoot.

So come the Easter Holidays we book a week at a site not very far from home as an experimental camping trip. This image is from day one when I've arrived on my own, parked and was endeavouring to put up, for the first time, the full length second hand awning I had acquired. The plan being that Jade and our children etc would come and stay the following night.

In the meantime earlier that same week I lost nearly all functionality in the shoulder. Thus creatinf a truly carry-on- camping scenario with Jade being pregnant and the second night experienceing biblical storms and 50mph winds (which the awning miraculously survived)
