Infinity
This morning after breakfast we walked into the village as there was a market on, however it was the smallest market we've ever seen - about 3 stalls! But then again, the village probably isn't big enough to have anything bigger, but it's very pretty.
We also went to visit the Tour du Brison which overlooks the valley. We planned to walk to it, until we saw it was a 5 kms uphill walk, so we drove, but it was quite a scary drive as there were steep drops and no room for cars to pass! When we got there though it was well worth it - it's 730 meters above sea level and the view was amazing.
We spent the rest of the day at the hotel by the infinity pool. It's been 33 degrees and was lovely to keep going for a swim to cool off, and as you can see the view is fantastic! There's also a hydro pool with massaging jets, and this is in a kind of inflatable bubble. The temperature in there was 40 degrees and the water in the pool was 35 degrees, so we actually felt cold when we came back outside. It's worth viewing large to appreciate the view.
It's been lovely and relaxing, but sadly it's our last day. We're getting ready for dinner now but then have an early start tomorrow to drive home.
We can't praise this hotel enough - it's excellent value for money, the facilities are fantastic and the family can't do enough for their guests. It's somewhere we will definitely recommend and hopefully return to one day.
Thanks for all your comments, hearts and stars for yesterday's blip - it hit the spotlight! It means much, particularly as I've not been able to comment on your journals. We head home tomorrow, and normal service will then be resumed :-). Thanks again! xx
