Bright Yellow Birds in Mono

The American Gold Finches are plentiful at our feeders today, I was glad to see they noticed I had added seeds for them. They are just as territorial here as they are at home. I love seeing all the birds through my kitchen window.

I spent more time in the yard getting it ready for summer because I will not be back here for about 4 weeks since I have my hip replacement scheduled for next Thursday and I will be in no shape for yardwork for 2 or 3 months, so what I don't do now will not get done.

Today was my daughter-in-law's birthday, Ron and her are at her parent's beach house so we went over this evening for German Chocolate Cake. Delicious.
