Garthewin Open Garden, Llanfairtalhaiarn

MONDAY

A drive over to Llanfairtalhaiarn, Abergele to visit the Garthewin Hall. Today, the gardens were open for charity as part of the National Gardens Scheme.

Although the sun came out and we were able to sit on the grassy banks, the eight acre garden (and in particular the azaleas and rhododendrons) was still recovering from this week's heavy rain.

There were lots of red and blue damselflies and the odd dragonfly around the ponds in the water gardens.
