'Another Beautiful Morning'

This was the view as I entered the park at 7:30 this morning for my first outing since the trip to Amsterdam last week. It was another beautiful morning—clear and still, too!

I seemed to have picked up a rather nasty cold, so I took it very easy, which gave me lots of time to take in what was happening. Dog walkers were chatting, and runners were stretching—see the extras. But half an hour later, by the time of the second extra, the clouds were gathering, and it's been raining again all afternoon.

Early morning is so often the best time of day here at this time of year!
