Too wet

It was far too wet, and cold too, for anybody to be outside at the pub where Norman and I had lunch today.
We had to travel across the county for yet another hospital appointment. We went to a different hospital and with no online site map and very few signs to help us, we walked a long way to find the department we needed. I was so relieved that Norman agreed to come with me, I would have struggled on my own. I was pleased that after the problem getting there the outcome of the visit was good.
We stopped on the way home for a well earned pub lunch. There were no takers for the outside tables, it was far too wet and cold.
