A few years ago a dear friend gifted me this beautiful Bowl of Beauty Peony which I duly planted into a pot.   After a few years it didn't seem to be thriving so last year I transferred it into a border and it now has this lovely flower plus a few buds, which is more than it had last year.    I understand they don't like being moved so hopefully this one will be content where it is now and produce more flowers next year.
No surprises that it's covered in rain drops.   It started raining half way into our walk this morning and kept on until late afternoon.
