Cranes

Picking stones early in the morning to avoid the heat, but it didn't help much. I had sweat in my eyes after 20 minutes, but managed to work on for another 60. After a little rest setting up the seed drill for the wildlife field. Intended to do the seeding after lunch, but the field was too wet! Not sure, if it's because the narrow field is mostly in shadow until noon, or had it rained more there yesterday than at home, but I had to leave it.

It was +28°C in the afternoon and I decided it's best to stay away from the sunshine, doing office work. A little break, when Triinu saw a hawk by the pond and I went out with the camera, but saw just a lapwing and these cranes, surprisingly under trees. Maybe they needed some shadow, too.
