Lyme Regis is good for you!

We headed south in the morning rain for the Dorset coast. It was the longest drive I have made since my operation. It went well and it was good to be enjoying walking for miles in the fresh sea air, the salt spray and the relative shelter of the famous Cobb’s ancient stonework protecting the harbour and the town. The WSW wind was gusting up to 21mph. Fish and chips for supper was a mandatory treat! The hotel is right on the beach and the sound of the shingle churning in the surf is very hypnotic.
