First sighting of an orchid on our walk this morning.  My sister said I should blip it and I always do as I'm told!!  We were lucky not to get too wet, just a bit of drizzle.  The rain came later.  The garden is looking a mess with droopy long grass and flattened wildflowers.

I took my sister to Carlisle to catch a train to Newcastle for the first part of her long journey south.  The train was on time and she's now on the third train and so far all going well with the journey.  It seemed very strange coming home to an empty house.
