May Monsoon

The May Monsoon continued today, although I was pleased by the first half of the day being dry. 

My lunch with Junior was excellent - food (pizza) and chat - because both our lives have been relatively eventful recently. He was in Dumfries at the weekend for an ice hockey tournament and his team won it, so he was in good spirits even if his legs were still sore. 

When I was driving him up and down the country to play and train as a youngster I often wondered if I was doing the right thing by just supporting what he wanted. Would I have been better advised to encourage him towards football or rugby?

To know he is still playing ice hockey and enjoying it as he approaches middle age does make me think I got it right. 

My Blip is just the town centre at 08.55 as my day was starting to develop.
