Pattern emerging

I've done and undone this so many times.  It is not something you can do mindlessly watching TV as every row seems to be different. I now check that I've got 45. 87 and then 45 stitches at the end of every row as it is easy to miss the yarn overs that compensate for the stitches lost as you k2tog, ssk and sssk. I'm enjoying the challenge but it is frustrating when I make mistakes.  
Managed a few rows before and after work.  Roads were lovely and quiet as it's half term.  The WD40 that I put on my bike has done its job and I'm back to silent pedalling (apart from the creaky knees).
