A Town This Size . . . The Topp Twins

Today we have driven up to Taupo. It was a cold day at 8c.  We stopped here in Woodville to buy morning tea cakes to take to a friend. He had his fire roaring so I was happy.  He was our best man so a long association.  This is like many small towns which have seen better days. 
 The rest of the trip over the Napier Taupo road was interesting seeing lots of repairs happening to roads and bridges and clearing the river bed after the big flood event in Feb 2023.  Tonight we are enjoying our friend Sandra's fire. It is blowing a gale outside.
