Sedge Warbler
I took the day off work for my birthday and visited two of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust's nature reserves. I spent the morning at the Upton Warren reserve near Bromsgrove and the afternoon at the Knapp and Papermill reserve a few miles west of Worcester.
My main reason for going to Upton Warren was to see the avocets, but the highlight turned out to be this sedge warbler which was making a lot of noise in the reeds right beside the car park.
