The Gift that Keeps on Giving

About 15 years ago, a neighbor gave me some Iris rhizomes, maybe 8-10.  over the years they have kept multiplying and I've kept dividing them and spreading them about.  Now, each late May the garden is full of these lovely flowers.  Bearded Iris were a favorite of my mom and we had them growing around our home.  Luckily, we are in for a streak of really lovely weather so I can enjoy the show.  Soon, it will be the peonies turn to shine.  A beautiful time of year in the garden.
