Encounters Before The Tree

The Vivid Fesival is on, so it was the natural mid-week cultural pick. We walked from Wynyard around Barangaroo and up to Stargazer Lawn for the best bits. “Nest”, by Leila Jeffreys and Melvin J Montalban, has already been blipped by Trisharooni, but I’m adding my take as an extra. 

I like the idea of hidden geometry in trees. To be honest, I liked the little shed housing the light equipment just as much, but it didn’t photograph well. Javier Riera is the artist.
