Sydney Opera House
On this cracker of a sparkling, windless day my bushwalking group met. Starting at Milsons Point Station which is under the northern end of the Harbour Bridge, our first stop was the harbour foreshore from where we got the view in my main. Little says 'shape' like the Sydney Opera House which is based on a sphere cut up into pieces like an orange.
From there we went east to our next stop for a look at two great pieces of real estate - Admiralty House and Kirribilli House, the Sydney residences of the Governor-General and the Prime Minister respectively. My extra is of Kirribilli House through its gate with its Southern Cross decorative feature.
From there we walked around several bays and points, had a very nice lunch and finished up with a ferry back to the city. A great day after which a good rest was needed.
Thanks for hosting Bob.
