After voting treat

Today was election day in SA. In all my years of voting I have never seen such long queues. Luckily, with hubby using a walker, we were whisked through in a few minutes. We had an anxious time this morning when hubby couldn't find his wallet containing his identity document. Eventually we found it.
After voting we went to the lovely Beach Hotel for coffee and cake. Sister M joined us. The carrot cake looked good but sadly it was rather dry. 
This afternoon I cleaned and sorted hubby's desk in his study, did some sorting of clothes, and then watched the French Open tennis. Not a very exciting way to spend a public holiday! ! 
Now to wait until Sunday to hear the final election results.
