Desire Line

Just got back from a fantastic trip to the Farne Islands (more of that later). On the way we had a picnic tea near Hadrians Wall. This was part of the walk to get there and shows where the walk deteriorated into the thinnest desire line through some wildflower meadows. We ended up eating by a deserted roman quarry which had turned into a little lake.
