So Much to See...

.. So Little Time! 

My France magazine arrived today, which is always a treat and usually creates much nostalgia and wishful thinking, and this time it was no different; the contents of this issue went straight to my heart and brought back great memories of the Dordogne and especially of Toulouse. And, quelle surprise, there was even an article on Château du Bosc, the childhood home of Toulouse-Lautrec which my sister and I visited last spring...

The Château was rather out of the way in a rural area somewhat lacking in signposts and we managed to get lost in search of it! The guided tour was en français of course, but I lucked out by standing next to a bilingual and sympathetic Frenchman! Then, to top off the experience.. oh no.. there were no washroom facilities working that day!.. Fun times.... Despite all that, we loved it! 

Every time the magazine arrives, I get psyched up to go to back to France and Paris, but that will have to wait another year..until after all  the Olympic craziness and inflated prices subside. Maybe next spring...?
