Mind...
...blown...
I watched a BBC documentary called Mysterious Origins of Insects tonight. Absolutely fascinating! I should have been an entomologist!
Busy day, another survey carried out today and the first draft of a condition report out together!
A walk with Emily and her pooches up at the field near the North Third. A beauftiful evening despite the dark clouds that have been gathering all afternoon.
Pongo is doing so well after his broken leg but I was nervous for him. She had been advised by the vet not to let him run on very uneven ground... but at the same time I also get where she is coming from by letting him run. I would just do it somewhere else!
She's also having a very hard time with menopause and revealed that she is in a very dark place just now and said if it wasn't for her dogs she doesn't think she would be here. She has made an appointment with the doc for HRT. We're not great friends in that we are friends because of our dogs and don't go out together other than walking the dogs and she is a bit of a loner so I have told her to call at any time. I think the fact she has acknowledged her depression and has made the doctor's appointment is half the battle. Being a woman is just pants at times!
