Five Cygnets A Swimming

These swans have nested in a strange spot between the promenade and a boating pool on a narrow patch of grass. My employers have had to fence off the area (from dogs) and build a ramp so the cygnets can get in and out of the water. There are hungry seagulls about but their parents are very attentive. Had a busy morning doing non tree work. Visited the swans at lunchtime. Thought I was having a chippy tea with L but she has jet lag and a cold. So I headed to Treales and inspected some Ash trees on the way home.
