Shapes on the skyline
When we visit Ocean Village in Southampton, I'm always fixated on the buildings which command the skyline.
Had a light lunch at The Harbar in the Southampton Harbour hotel. Was 1/10. Slaw which was totally dry and no dressing (apart from a teeny swirl of nasty pink vegan mayo). Asked for vinaigrette, they didn't have any, was given chilli oil instead! The Bang Bang cauliflower was almost raw inside, and the batter a tasteless mush, and it was drizzled with the same pink mayo. Such a pity as have had some really nice food there.
I went to Southampton specifically to buy 2 x £1.50 vases from Ikea. Luckily they still had them. I have one, which my hydroponically growing orchid loves. So will transfer another orchid when it finishes flowering (was given to me in mid December, already in bloom, and it still is 5 ½ months later). Also the keiki when it has 3 leaves and 3 air roots.
Walked to Ikea, got the vases, and luckily managed to get to the station in time for the Cross Country train back.
