Rusty old stove
I've blipped this old stove before. The colours have changed, a bit lighter and more rusty orange now, maybe from the salt water. It was originally used to heat a houseboat that someone lived in out in the bay, but that houseboat and another were beached in high winds on winter 2020. The one on the left in the link was floated back out into the water, but this one wasn't. It was burned down, and the stove and a few other things that didn't burn were left on the beach. Now this old stove is the only remnant of the houseboat. I walked over to it to get a couple of photos. Another in the extra.
Very weird day of weather. It was pouring when I woke up, cleared up a wee bit and I thought I'd get out for my walk, managed to dodge the rain. It was cold though. One of the people I saw on the trail said he wished he'd worn a warmer jacket, and I replied that I wished I'd worn my gloves! We had heavy rain and hail in the afternoon. Looks like we're in for plenty more rain. I hope that nothing was damaged in the garden.
