Four

Despite what Blip said yesterday, this photo celebrates the end of my fourth year of blipping. They noted that I had posted 1460 entries (4 x 365) but, of course, this year is a Leap Year so an extra day was need to mark four calendar years. Not that I’m in any way OCD or pedantic, you understand!
And I wish I had something more interesting to show you. A fortnight ago I blipped a stark, modern building at the hospital where my sister is presently being looked after, and where I was born many years ago. I said then that the old maternity unit had been pulled down in 1997, so no physical trace of my birthplace still exists.
But today I parked in a different car park and walked past these old buildings and their chained gates on the way to my sister’s unit. I doubt the gates have been opened for many years, but the buildings themselves seem to be still in use. And judging by the architectural style, I’d say they were definitely there 64 years ago. I’ll count that.
Still no sign of a blue plaque though…
