Gold Hill

A post box topper at the top of Shaftesbury’s Gold Hill!.The hill that featured in the TV commercial for a loaf of bread back in the day! Great visit to the town’s museum, its ruined abbey and the imaginative children’s playground with the Wiltshire grandchildren while their parents were working during their half term week. Weather steadily improved throughout the day. Smooth scenic drive home this evening.
