A twisted tree
We went for a drive up into the Yorkshire dales. Unfortunately, the village of Grassington was overrun with day trippers (ourselves included), so we headed down to the river Wharfe for a short walk. It was quite cloudy and windy, but fortunately there was no rain.
This twisted and dead tree on the bank of the river caught my eye.
After lunch in Kettlewell, we drove up to Aysgarth to view the famous waterfalls. The light was fading slightly, but I have included a shot in the extra.
